PUNK is created with attitude - and hand cut dichroic glass in jewel colours, placed mosaic style to form this four letter word.
The base layer of glass has a distressed effect with graffiti grunge lurking in the shadows. The top layer of clear glass is manipulated and 'splintered' over the lettering to expose  raw areas beneath..
In the final design stage, hand painted graffiti is is written over the piece incorporating iconic phrases and artists that headed up the Punk era. 
 
Fused several times in a hot kiln, this item takes days to complete. Every individual piece is unique.
A smart wood base is supplied with this item.
